Interpreter Program

interpreter program

The Environmental Education for the Okanagan has an interpreter program for the general public on weekends and school tours during weekdays at various times during the year.

One particular time is during the kokanee salmon spawning migration each September. During spawning talks occur at the EECO and at Hardy Falls just north of Summerland.

These personnel also do school visitations to discuss environmental education topics and projects with students.

The Interpreter program is organized by the Regional District of the Central Okanagan Parks Department.
